概要

This paper introduces a recent activity for revision from 2008 ed. of JSME Rules for Fitness for Service, mainly Evaluation chapter. The main revision points are 1) Introduction of the flaw acceptance rule of Class 1 components into Class 2 and 3 piping, 2) Introduction and arrangement of new K-solution equations, and 3) Development of a new code case for a flaw acceptance rule and K-calculation guideline for J-grooved weld of a bottom mounted instrument nozzle for cap-repair. These revisions and development were intended to reflect the knowledge of the state of the art and conformity to international codes such as ASME with highly motivated members of Subgroup of Maintenance Rules and Working Group of Flaw Evaluation of JSME Codes and Standards Committee.
