概要

A shatter zone called “D-1” exists in site of Tsuruga Power Station. The Japan Atomic Power Company has been investigating and evaluating the D-1 shatter zone since the construction period of Tsuruga P ower Station Unit-2. In addition, in the D-1 trench to evaluate the activity of the D-1 shatter zone, two faults of the G fault and the K fault was confirmed. The continuity of these faults and the D-1 shatter zone was evaluated. In the evaluation of the continuity of the D-1 shatter zone, we focused on multiple features (fault gouge color, fault gouge structure minerals and displacement sense of re nt active face, etc.) showing the characteristics of the fault, and examined. As a result, it has become clear that the D-1 shatter zone is a continuation of the G fault, but that the K fault is not.
