概要
The inspection of the defect in the steel wall of the oil tank in the petrochemical plant etc. is important for the safe maintena nce. In this paper, the electromagnetic inspection method using a de magnetic field and a minute ac magnetic field is proposed. G enerally, in the steel, the relative permeability is not unity.Therefore, the technique for reducing the effect of the nonuniformi ty of the permeability in the steel, and measuring the opposite side defect on the steel wall is examined using 3D nonlinear FEM.
