概要

The purpose of this paper is to present the maintenance at JNFL ROKKASHO reprocessing plant which is under active test. The reprocessing plant is a chemical plant which is different from a nuclear p ower plant, in that the maintenance performed focuses attention on criticality prevention by concentration management of nuclear fuel material, fire and explosion prevention against use of chemical a gent in bulk, and the containment function of radioactive material. The equipments in reprocessing plant is planned for a proper implementation of maintenance, by being classified into two categorie s of preventive maintenance (time based maintenance, condition based maintenance) and corrective maintenance, according to the place of installation, the type of equipment and the environment of use.
