概要
This study provides an application of the risk evaluation of a nuclear power plant to the improvement of the plant operation and maintenance activities. The risk p rofiles for assumption of not only single but also double outage of safety systems, obtained from the risk importance analysis, show that the risk increase from si ngle outage of the supporting systems is generally higher than that of the frontline systems, and that the risk increase from double system outage depends on the combination of the outage systems. This risk information is applicable to the decision-making relevant to the system outage management such as on-line maintenance.
