概要

Common Cause Failure (CCF) is one of the critical risk sources for nuclear power plants. To reflect the operating experience in the Japanese nuclear power plants (NPPS) to probabilistic risk assessment (PRA) , the analysis of CCFs and estimation of CCF model parameters (alpha factors and MGL parameters) for PRA were performed using the component failure records in the NUClear Information Archives (NUCIA) for the Japanese nuclear power plants. The methodology is according to the standard procedure used in the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The results will be released for use in the Japanese PRAs after the review and validation by the utilities.
