概要

The introduction of a significant amount of variable energy, and the reduction of the number of generators, destabilizes power-system, and the possibility that a transmission accident causes disasters such as a large-scale blackout will be increased. In such a situation, nuclear power generation is one of the option which is compatible with the reduction of CO2 emission and reinforcement of the power-system stability. In this paper, the effect of the operation of nuclear power plants on the power-system stability by a grid simulator was investigated. We concluded that the power-system stability was increased by the operation of nuclear power plants.
