概要

This paper proposes a method for obtaining the vessel, such that no fluid is leaked when holes or cracks occur, because the broken part is repaired auto- matically by its self-repairing mechanism. The self-repairing unit (sealant layer) is consisting of two rubber sheets with quilting processed. Polymer particles, which expand their volume in contact with water, produce the force for selfrepairing. This article first discusses a method for making the vessel, then the method is applied to a tire with large inside pressure.
