概要

Basic knowledge on human error in human-machine system is first explained from three different views of human error in psychology: behavioristic, cognitive and organizational psychologies. And then, two different countermeasures are discussed for the prevention and mitigation of human error in the human-machine system. One is the improvement of human-machine interface for coping with cognitive error, while the other, enhancement of safety culture in the organization for preventing workers from violating social norm.
