概要
It is known that stress corrosion cracking (SCC) might occur at the weld of a reactor pressure vessel or core internals. Underwater laser beam clad welding for mitigation of SCC has been already established and the guideline “Underwater laser beam clad welding” was published. Moreover, the guideline “Seal welding” was also published as a repair method for SCC. In addition to these guidelines, the guideline “Underwater laser beam repair welding” was newly published in November, 2012 for the repair welding after completely removing a SCC crack occurred in weld or base metal. This paper introduces the summary of this guideline.
