概要
This paper is concerned with risk assessment of pipe wall thinning management. The reliability of the NDT systems is evaluated from probability of detection (POD). The statistical uncertainty of NDT reliability is then represented by a conservative confidence bound on the POD function. The idea is applied to the pipe wall thinning management using electro magnetic acoustic transducer.
