概要

Thermal power plant High Pressure Feedwater Heater (HPH) tubing is usually inspected and measured for thickness by ultrasonic immersion testing with an intemally inserted probe. The tube to be inspected is flooded with water and the ultrasonic sensor is inserted then drawn through the length of the tube. In traditional inspections the minimum wall thickness of each tube is recorded and the possibility of continued usage is interpreted. But in recent years, in order to reduce maintenance costs, achieve more effective interpretations of data and meet customer needs, ultrasonic test equipment with the possibility of faster, more effective flaw detection is required. In order to meet this need we have developed improved ultrasonic test equipment with both higher inspection speeds than traditional inspection equipment as well as automatic data recording. Our system measures the wall thickness of the tube throughout its entire length, records data on flaws, and automatically displays the results. This system meets customer needs by allowing for high speed testing and data report display.
