概要
In order to make the inspection of nuclear facilities more effective, mutual understanding and respect between the regulatory body and the licensees, and a frank, open and yet formal relationship shall be fostered. Thus the Research Committee on Optimization of Nuclear Safety Regulation was established at JSME in 2005, and the consensus of the committee served the recent regulatory system improvement, where insp ection during plant operation was attached importance. Regulatory issues related to on-line maintenance are now discussed in the committee.
