概要

A transient eddy current measurement method is presented to determine the thickness and conductivity of a conductive plate. The conductive plate is induced by an air-cored coil, the magnetic flux density along the axial is measured and the various signals corresponding to plates with dif ferent thickness and conductivity are calculated using a 3D transient eddy current simulator. Characteristic features are obtained from the tran sient response. A similarity-based modeling method is utilized in this study to estimate the thickness and conductivity of the conductive plate.
