概要
This paper proposes a guideline for selection of element size and time increment by 3-D finite eleme nt method, which is applied to elastic wave propagation analysis for a long distance of a large str ucture. A element size and a time increment is determined by quantitative evaluation of strain, whic h must be 0 on the analysis model with a uniform motion, caused by spatial and time discretization.
