概要
Abstract This paper summarizes the maintenance activities and Plant Life Management (ageing management review) in Japanese nuclear power plants. The electric ut ilities evaluate the measures against ageing phenomena which will be taken at each plant by the time the plant has reached its 30th year of operation. The measur es utilities against ageing phenomena are to be carefully taken into the maintenance program based on these evaluation results. At the same time, these measures will be re-evaluated during the Periodic Safety Review, which is performed every 10 years, taking into consideration operating experience and updated knowledge.
