概要
Abstract The nuclear information web site named NUCIA has been developed at the request of the Federation of Electric Power Companies of Japan (FEPC). NUCIA is a public access system ava ilable through the Internet. The aim of developing NUCIA was to improve the quality of electric utilities' activities such as plant operation and maintenance by sharing and utilizing inf ormation on troubles and failures in nuclear power plants with utilities, plant manufacturers, regulatory agency and academia in Japan, and increase the transparency of nuclear power pla nts operation by making this data available to the public. NUCIA has two kinds of data, which are event data and component reliability data, and was opened to the public in October 2003.
