概要

In the present paper, the mechanism that cesium ions are captured in cray minerals is first explained to understand the low cesium concentration levels in rice and other at the market after the Fukushima Daiichi Accident. Then the cesium concentration levels and the market prices on rice and other in fiscal year 2018 are introduced. Based on the present situation on rice and other, the author proposes adapting the international standard on the regulation for food instead of the present standard in Japan.
