概要

Non-destructive testing technique was developed for embedded plates using phased-array ultrasonic testing (PAUT). The bending angle of their studs was quantitatively estimated by using the sector scan of PAUT, which is usually difficult by using conventional UT. In addition, this technique is capable of visualizing the weld shape of the stud by using the linear scan of PAUT. Mockup tests were carried out in order to verify the effectiveness of the technique.
