照明柱の非破壊計測における埋設によるガイド波の減衰
概要
Recently, the number of aged traffic structures is increasing in Japan. Most of them require constant maintenance to prevent an accident. Kobe city has a lot of aged illumination pillars and had two fall accidents, unfortunately. To detect an illumination pillar with a defect quickly, we apply a guided wave excited by electromagnetic acoustic transducers to a nondestructive testing system. This method has the potential for low-cost and efficient testing. When testing buried illumination pillars, it is necessary to consider the influence on the guided wave by soil. We validate the attenuation of the guided wave by simulating the buried illumination pillar through a laboratory experiment.
