The Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station has always embraced the most up-to-date knowledge in its effort to enhance safety. We have been carrying out safety measures both before and after the accident at TEPCO's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, including countermeasures for tsunami and severe accidents. In response to the government introduction of New Regulatory Requirements, we are adopting a series of safety measures.
