概要
Many number of small sized and self-propelled maintenance vehicles have been used in large sized factory yard such as nuclear facility, and there were installed simple setting type rechargeable batteries in part of them. We experienced to confirm a burnt trace at the electrode part of the battery after 11 years operation. So based upon this incident, we have been examining this cause and countermeasures in order to reduce the risk of safety operation. These activities are reflected to improve the support structure of these electrodes and batteries, and to revise the maintenance manual of them as follows
