Fire protections for the nuclear power plants have been based on the fire laws and the conventional guide. After Fukushima Daiichi NPP accident, many safety countemeasue ?also about Fire Protection- have been discussed in th e Japanese authorities. This paper shows our present actities in the Tomari NPP about the fire protections from the view points of Fire Prevention, Fire Detection /Suppression Systems and Fire Protection, and other advances.
