Abstract: Discussion is a direction of future development of Structural Integrity Assessment Technology on nuclear power plant components. Integrity assessment is a integrated technology composed of many kinds of element technologies including wide variety of specialty. A recommendation is proposed for its future development fro m a viewpoint of a harmonized combination of integration and diversifying. A point of the balance depends upon a stage of development of the technology and sense of Japanese public. Suggested is to consider a codes and standards system of integrity assessment technology which is necessary at present or to be necessary in future.
