大間原子力発電所の建設段階における運転訓練シミュレータ導入とSA改造について
概要
The Ohma Nuclear Power Station, currently under construction, is an ABWR, and is designed to be capable of using MOX fuel in the entire core. Construction commenced in May 2008 and progress has been made, but the overall progress rate of the construction after the Great East Japan Earthquake has been 37.6%. The operation training simulator was installed ahead of other facilities to implement design change information under the new regulatory requirements, and the simulator is being used to conduct training for operators. The simulator underwent modification in September 2018, and now has the capability to conduct training to respond to severe accidents. The other hand, various drills (such as drills for handling hoses to supply water from external sources) are also conducted to train personnel responsible for performing emergency response activities in the field.
