概要

It is premised on the safe operation of nuclear power plants, and it is possible to reduce the economic benefits and the serious risks facing humankind due to global warming. The use of renewable energy should be promoted, but it is important to promote the best mix with improved safety nuclear power generation and significantly reduce CO2 emissions. On the other hand, typhoons, blizzards, torrential rains, abnormal heat, earthquakes, etc. have caused major power outages all over the world. Solar power and wind power are vulnerable to such natural disasters, and if the AC power supply is lost or the frequency of the AC power supply drops, it will be disconnected from the system. It is necessary to strengthen the resilience of the system. To this goal, the role of nuclear power as a main power source with enhanced disaster countermeasures became important.
