概要

Tokai Reprocessing Plant (TRP) is implementing its decommissioning activities based on the decommissioning plan approved by Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA). In the decommissioning, safety countermeasure against earthquakes and tsunamis is a top priority matter, especially for High Active liquid Waste facility (HAW) and Tokai Vitrification Facility (TVF), which handle highly radioactive liquid waste with high safety risks. This study focuses on the immediate tsunami countermeasures among the other safety measures. The standardized implementation procedure for each investigation items is developed in order to accelerate entire activities as well as effective and proper evaluation. The possible tsunami debris have been investigated by the site walkdown in the surrounding area of HAW and TVF. Numerical simulations, such as debris trajectory analysis, tsunami flow pattern have also been performed. Tsunami debris with possibilities to attack HAW and TVF have been evaluated from the walkdown and simulation data.
