概要

As a part of voluntary initiatives to improve the safety of our nuclear power plants, we are working on the continuous improvement of maintenance activities by introducing the concept of quality control into the maintenance management policy, improving the assessment of maintenance effectiveness based on the maintenance-related information, such as as-found conditions and on-line monitoring data, and identifying the physical properties of individual components in a more accurate manner. At the same time, the utilization of information system technologies is the key to promote the risk-informed approach in routine operation and maintenance activities through advanced probabilistic risk assessment methods using plant-specific equipment failure rates. In this context, we have reconstructed the integrated nuclear maintenance management system, so called “M35”, which has been used at our plants for about 10 years. This paper introduces update information about maintenance management activities at KEPCO’s nuclear power plants.
