概要
Pipe wall thinning management is one of important items to keep safe nuclear power plant operation. In pipe wall thinning management, accurate understanding of wall thinning behavior is required, because pipe replacement period is evaluated by the result of pipe wall thickness measurement. In recently, not only current method “UT” and “RT” but also new nondestructive tests are being developed by many institutes. More advanced management will be achieved by these new monitoring systems. In this paper, developed status of these new monitoring systems are described with expected advanced pipe wall thinning management.
