島根原子力発電所２号機におけるブローアウトパネル 閉止装置について
概要
It is required to install a blowout panel re-closing device (BOPS) as a facility for dealing with severe accidents in order to comply with Article 59 of the examination criteria of nuclear reactor establishment permission. The purpose of the BOPS is to close the opening of the reactor building when the blowout panel on the fuel replacement floor of the reactor building opens in the event of a serious accident, etc., and the reactor building boundary is formed to suppress the leakage of radioactive materials from the reactor building and reduce the exposure of operators in the main control room. This paper describes the functional requirements and basic design for the BOPS.
