概要

Due to the increase in aging social infrastructures and the shortage of human resources with the declining birthrate and aging society, labor saving in patrol and inspection work is required. The purpose of this work is not only to reduce the load of patrol and inspection but also to provide new services such as digitization of inspection data. We have developed autonomous four-wheel robot and drone as mobile platforms that can patrol on behalf of workers. The robot can take pictures of the target equipment while passing the waypoints on the map created in advance. An operation test was conducted to confirm the effectiveness of the autonomous patrol and inspection in the indoor and outdoor environments.
